Course Description

Course Profile

The Doctoral School at the Medical University of Bialystok offers advanced research opportunities in Medical Sciences. Candidates engage in scientific research, participate in academic activities, and develop their competencies under the guidance of experienced promotors. 

Education Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent with translation into English or Polish*

* If your diploma cannot be automatically recognized in Poland based on international agreements, you need to undergo the nostrification process through NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange).

Other Requirements

Research project proposal.​

List of prior scientific activities and achievements.​

Medical certificate confirming no contraindications.​

Proof of English language proficiency, when in possession (for exemption from the English exam).​

Internal examinations: English language exam and Subject-Specific exam.

Health insurance or declaration of enrollment in the National Health Fund.​

Document confirming legal stay in Poland for non-EU/Schengen area candidates. ​
