Clinical Psychology is a specialised program within the Psychology MA curricula. This graduate program provides advanced education based on the latest clinical science, focusing on clinical assessment and intervention. It prepares future clinicians to apply a wide range of evidence-based practices aligned with ethical and professional standards.
This specialization is ideal for students interested in mental and behavioral health, who aspire to help others understand and overcome psychological distress while preventing emotional and social dysfunction. The program is suitable for those holding an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a related field.
In the first year, students receive intensive theoretical education, including an introduction to clinical treatment, child and adult psychopathology, and foundational skills in psychotherapy, assessment, and clinical research.
The second year emphasizes the psychotherapeutic process and the development of practical clinical skills, such as working with adults with behavioral addictions, families, and groups. Students also complete a Master’s thesis and a 100-hour psychological practice, which includes clinical training.
