Course Description

Course Profile

The undergraduate program in English Studies with an additional language focuses on developing advanced language skills in both English and a second language. English courses are taught at a high level of proficiency and cover linguistics, intensive language development, and the cultural and historical background of English-speaking countries. Simultaneously, the additional language is introduced at a beginner level, with a gradual progression toward higher language competence.

By the end of the program, students aim to achieve CEFR C1 proficiency in English and at least B2 proficiency in the additional language. This program is ideal for individuals passionate about exploring other cultures, learning languages, and engaging with diverse communities. It also suits candidates who have already completed another degree and wish to broaden their career opportunities through advanced language skills.

Students can choose from Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese, Italian or Korean as their additional language, ensuring a diverse and globally relevant educational experience.

Education Requirements

Secondary school/high-school diploma and transcript of grades, certificate of English proficiency at CEFR B2 level
