Course Description

Course Profile

The undergraduate program in English Studies focuses on practical skills and combines several modules, such as: linguistics, intensive language learning, as well as cultural and historical background of the English-speaking countries. Thanks to this approach, students gain multifaceted skills, including language competencies, academic reading and writing, multicultural awareness, and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). 

The English Studies Program at SWPS University is designed for individuals who are passionate about exploring other cultures, learning languages, and connecting with diverse people. English Studies may also be attractive to candidates who have already completed another program of study and would like to expand their career opportunities by perfecting their language skills. We offer four specialties within the program: Teaching English, Cultural and Literary Studies, English for Business Environment, and Translation Studies (Polish/English translation).

Education Requirements

Secondary school/high-school diploma and transcript of grades, certificate of English proficiency at CEFR B2 level
